Age Limit : Candidates age limit is should be 20-26 years as on 06.02.2015 i.e born in between 02.01.1990 to 01.01.1996 (both dates includes).
Education qualification:(a). No. 198/16G/PC/M (Permanent Commission for Men Candidates)

(c). No. 198/16G/SSC/W (Short Service Commission for Women Candidates)
Age Limit : Candidates age limit is should be 20-26 years as on 06.02.2015 i.e born in between 02.01.1990 to 01.01.1996 (both dates includes).
a). Candidate should have post Graduate Degree in any Science stream / Mathematics / Statistics / Geography / Computer Applications / Environmental science / Applied physics / Oceanography / Meteorology / Agricultural Meteorology / Ecology & Environment / Geo physics / Environmental Biology with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together (Provided Maths and Physics were studied at Graduate Level, with a minimum of 55% marks in both).
b). Candidates appearing in final year / semester examinations may also apply.
Physical standards: with correlated weight and Minimum Height for men is 157.5 cms and Minimum Height for women is 152 cms.
Selection process: Candidates are selected based on their performance in Training Period & short listed candidates are called for testing at one of the Air Force Selection Boards (AFSB) at Dehradun, Mysore, Gandhinagar, Varanasi or Kancharapara. The testing consist of two stages. Stage-1 consist of Intelligence test with others test and Stage-2 consist of Psychological Test, group test and Interview.

How to apply: Eligible candidates can apply offline from 17th January, 2015 to 14th February, 2015.
Instructions to Apply: Candidates are required to complete the application form as per prescribed format and forward the original application copy to the address " POST BAG NO.001, NIRMAN BHAWAN POST OFFICE, NEW DELHI-110106" by ordinary post only. superscribe the envelop with " Application for meteorology branch courses commencing in January 2016".Take a xerox copy of applied application for future reference.
